‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ March 13 written update: Maira and Mukti plan on getting their parents together

The episode begins with Maira and Mukti thinking about how their parents need someone else in their lives. Maira feels that she is too young for all of this; however, Mukti reminds her that she even went and got a tattoo for her father, which means that she can do this no matter what.

The two then determine that they need to find partners for their parents.Meanwhile, the scene picks up where Abhira gets into the auto to go home. As Armaan follows her with his car to ensure that she gets home safe, the driver feels that they are being followed. Abhira tells him to drive faster, though this makes Armaan think that the auto driver is trying to harm Abhira. After a while, however, she realises that it is Armaan and that he has been following them to ensure her safety.

Tanya confronts Krish

At home, Tanya finds out that someone has been sending Krish money, unaware that he is also working for Meher. She confronts him about the money, however, he continuously dodges and avoids her questions about the matter. He tells Tanya not to worry about him and tells her that he is working on a project. He then secretly sends Meher photos of Armaan and Abhira, who then tells him that she needs more updates about the two of them.

Aryan requests Armaan and Abhira to pretend to be a couple

Later in the day, Aryan calls everyone in the family and tells them that Disha’s family wishes to meet them. He, however, tells them that they are orthodox and are very set and traditional in their ways. He then requests Armaan and Abhira to pretend to be a couple for his and Disha’s sake, shocking everyone. The two of them refuse and think about all that has happened in the past 8 years. Abhira wonders how she is only back because of Kaveri, and that she will not be able to pretend to be Armaan’s wife.

Mukti and Maira plot to get their parents together

At the hostel, Maira creates a dating profile for her father and urges Mukti to make one for her mom. The two talk about what kind of people their parents are, and Mukti tells Maira to get excited, as she would be getting a new mother. Maira corrects her and tells her that whoever Armaan ends up with will be his partner, not her mother.Maira then asks Mukti about her mother, and after the two talk they realise that their parents are perfect for each other. They celebrate and then plan out how they are going to make their parents meet.
