‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ March 3 written update: Abhira sends her cake to Mukti and Maira

The episode begins with Abhira asking Armaan whether their daughter remembers her or not. Armaan, however, continues to ignore her and instead sees that Meher has been calling him repeatedly.

In anger, both Armaan and Abhira destroy each other’s cakes.

Maira gets the tattoo

At the tattoo parlor, Maira wants to see her ink; however, the artist tells her that she has to leave the bandage on for a day or two to let it heal. When Maira asks Mukti about her tattoo, the latter admits that she backed out at the last minute after getting scared. She says that seeing Maira scream in pain scared her, and she stopped herself from getting the tattoo.

Maira gets upset with Mukti and tells her to go back to the hostel on her own.Meanwhile, since Abhira baked two cakes, she offers the one that is still intact to Armaan as a peace offering. He, however, gets angry at the request. He raises his hand, but pulls himself back at the last minute. The scene then shifts to Meher talking to Mittal about Armaan, and she admits that she has to marry him, no matter the cost. She also threatens Mittal and tells him that he has to help her get married to Armaan at all costs.

Armaan tells the family not to tell Maira about Abhira

Back at home, Armaan tells his family members that Maira will be returning from the hostel for Holi. He tells them that she cannot know about his and Abhira’s meetings, as it will only upset her. Meher comes to the house and sees everyone talking in hushed tones. She asks what they wish to hide from Maira, though everyone remains silent. She then tells them that she has already invited Maira to her Holi party.

Mukti and Maira eat Abhira’s cake

Back at the hostel, Mukti tries to make it up to Maira; however, Shruti brings them Abhira’s cake, along with Meher’s invitation. The two girls wonder about who could have sent the cake, Armaan or Abhira. As they eat the cake, Mukti boasts that such a good cake must be from her mother. Maira, however, gets flashbacks from her last birthday with Abhira and remembers how her mother’s homemade cake used to taste. Mukti tells her that she wants to see the tattoo; however, Maira informs her that the artist told her to keep it covered for another day.
