A yellow alert has been issued for five districts in north Kerala, where isolated heavy rain is likely on Friday (July 10, 2026). Kasaragod, Kannur, Kozhikode, Wayanad, and Malappuram have been put on the alert.
According to a weather bulletin issued by the India Meteorological department (IMD), an offshore trough persists at mean sea level from south Gujarat to north Kerala. Under the influence influence of the system, moderate rain is likely across the State for the next four days.
