Young man killed by stray bullet in Uttara Kannada

A 19-year-old man was killed by a stray bullet in Hadageri village of Uttara Kannada on Sunday.

Subrahmanya Manjunath Marathi died when the bullet aimed at a monkey hit him accidentally.

An air gun was being used by an estate owner. However, the bullet entered the young man’s heart and he collapsed on the spot.

Police Inspector M.R. Siddarameshwar and others visited the spot.

A case has been registered in the Honnavar Police Station.
