Youth slits throat of minor girl for refusing to marry him in Kadapa

A 19-year-old boy allegedly slit the throat of a minor girl after she rejected his marriage proposal. The girl, Keerthana (16), died on the way to the hospital.

Agraharam locality in Khajipet mandal headquarters town in Kadapa district witnessed a frenzied situation on Friday, as the family members, accompanied by women’s groups and social activists, staged a demonstration at the bus stand circle, demanding justice for the girl.
