YSRCP alleges diversion over MAVIGUN, flays Amaravati focus

The YSR Congress Party leader and former MP Margani Bharat on Tuesday accused the ruling coalition of attempting to divert public attention from former Chief Minister and YSRCP president Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Machilipatnam–Vijayawada–Guntur (MAVIGUN) proposal by misrepresenting statements made by party MP Mithun Reddy.

Addressing the media at the party’s central office in Tadepalli, Mr. Bharat alleged that Minister Kolusu Parthasarathy had made “derogatory and misleading” remarks against the YSRCP. He said the MP’s statement reflected commitment to the party leadership and a willingness to make sacrifices for the State and the nation, but was wrongly portrayed in a negative light.
