The 23rd round of India-China Corps Commander-level meeting was held at the Chushul-Moldo border meeting point on Saturday (October 25, 2025).
According to the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), this was the first interaction under the General-level mechanism in the western sector since the 24th round of Special Representatives’ talks on August 19, 2025. The talks took place in a friendly and cordial atmosphere.

Both sides noted the progress made since the 22nd round of talks in October 2024 and acknowledged that peace has been maintained in the border areas, the Ministry further added.
The two sides agreed to continue using existing mechanisms to resolve issues on the ground and maintain stability along the Line of Actual Control.
