Around 25 to 30 passengers were injured after a speeding bus went out of control and rammed into a roadside field near BHEL outpost on National Highway 44 in Jhansi’s Babina area on Monday.

The accident triggered panic among passengers, many of whom screamed for help as the bus overturned into the field. Local police and rescue teams rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to Jhansi Medical College for treatment.

According to officials, the bus was travelling from Tikamgarh in Madhya Pradesh to Jhansi when the driver reportedly lost control. Senior district officials later reached the site to assess the situation.
