While the Sangh has officially not shared which issues it will take up at the three-day event, multiple sources within the RSS said that demography and illegal immigration are expected to be discussed.

Statements will also be issued on the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur, the ninth guru of the Sikhs; the 150th birth anniversary of tribal icon Birsa Munda; and the completion of 150 years of the composition of Vande Mataram, the national song.

The meeting will hold discussions on preparations for upcoming RSS centenary year celebrations such as the Griha Sampark Abhiyan (door-to-door campaign), Hindu Sammelan, Sadbhav Baithak (social harmony meets) and Pramukh Jan Sangoshthi (meetings with local representatives) across the country.

The meet on Thursday began with the participants paying tributes to people who had passed away recently.
