Tejashwi Yadav's voter ID claim baseless, says Election Commission

The conflict between Tejaswi Aadav and the Election Commission over his EPIC voter ID has intensified. Aadav claimed his name was removed from the voter list, but Election Commission sources have described the assertion as baseless. The EPIC number Aadav presented, RAB 2916120, reportedly does not exist in official records. According to these sources, 'it is likely that the second EPIC voter ID may be fake.' This development follows a review of Aadav's 2020 election affidavit for Raghupur, which confirms his name was on the voter list with a different EPIC number: RAB 0456228. That affidavit listed his polling booth as number 160 and his serial number as 511, matching the official 2020 voter roll.
