30 IMFL bottles seized in Bokaro

Bokaro: Thirty bottles of India Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL), valued at Rs 12,640 in total, were seized from a coach of the 18626 Kosi Super Express at Bokaro railway station on Wednesday, RPF officials said.RPF officer D K Dwivedi said the bottles were found in a trolley bag in a general coach. “Despite repeated inquiries, none claimed ownership of the bag. The bag was subsequently offloaded for inspection. On examination, 30 bottles of IMFL, each of 375 ml, was recovered. The total value of the recovered liquor has been estimated at Rs 12,640,” he said.Since there was no claimant, the bottles will be handed over to the excise officials. On Tuesday, 20.0 kg marijuana worth Rs 10.49 lakh was seized from two unclaimed trolley bags in Coach B-2 of Bhubneshawar– Dhanbad Express at Bokaro railway station.
