541 pink booths in Patna district

Patna: For the first-phase polling to be held on Thursday, 541 pink booths would be set up in Patna district. The booths would be managed exclusively by women staff.Under the Digha constituency, a total of 100 pink booths would be set up, which includes DAV Public School, Rajbanshi Nagar (10), Kendriya Vidyalay (2), Sheikhpura (6) and Bihar Veterinary College (7).

In Bankipur constituency, 92 pink booths will be set up which includes Patna Women’s College (7) and St Xavier’s High School (3).The Patna Municipal Corporation, which will manage 1,833 polling booths across its six circles, is prioritising comfort of voters. Special arrangements have been made for cleaning, fogging and drinking water. Two dedicated sanitation workers would be deputed at each booth.
