"A little surreal": Connor Brown on the massive fan support at Game 1 against the Florida Panthers

In a recent blog by Connor Brown, the star forward of the Edmonton Oilers, will be penning down his thoughts during the Stanley Cup Final between the Oilers and the Florida Panthers. With one game down and six more to go, the Oilers have a lead with one victory under their belt.

With the blog, Brown captured his excitement after winning Game 1. Additionally, he also wrote about the sky-high energy and fan support during the game. In a recent blog for NHL.com, Connor Brown wrote about his experience at the game and the huge role that the fans played by cheering on their favourite team. Commenting on the energy at the game, which took place in Edmonton, Connor Brown shared, "The atmosphere was incredible tonight, the building was so loud. We love playing in front of our fans. I think Trent Frederic said it best when he came here from Boston in a trade this year. He said it feels like hockey heaven, and it really is like that. The greatest players to ever play the game have come through here, and the next generation of the greatest players are coming through here.

Commenting on the same, Brown shared, "We know what that team over there is capable of. We were on the other side of devastation last year. If anybody has the best idea of what they can do, it’s us.
