In a recent blog by Connor Brown, the star forward of the Edmonton Oilers, will be penning down his thoughts during the Stanley Cup Final between the Oilers and the Florida Panthers. With one game down and six more to go, the Oilers have a lead with one victory under their belt.

With the blog, Brown captured his excitement after winning Game 1. Additionally, he also wrote about the sky-high energy and fan support during the game. The match ended with Leon Draisaitl scoring the game-winning goal with 31 seconds remaining on the clock. In a recent blog for NHL.com, Connor Brown wrote about his experience at the game and the huge role that the fans played by cheering on their favourite team. Commenting on the energy at the game, which took place in Edmonton, Connor Brown shared, "The atmosphere was incredible tonight, the building was so loud. We love playing in front of our fans. I think Trent Frederic said it best when he came here from Boston in a trade this year. He said it feels like hockey heaven, and it really is like that. The greatest players to ever play the game have come through here, and the next generation of the greatest players are coming through here.

It just feels a little surreal.

It's something that is not really quantifiable about playing in this building. It’s fun to be a part of."This is the second consecutive time that the Panthers and Oilers are facing off each other at the Stanley Cup Finals. Commenting on the same, Brown shared, "We know what that team over there is capable of. We were on the other side of devastation last year. If anybody has the best idea of what they can do, it’s us.
