The producers have announced the release date for 'Aasai' as March 6, along with the first poster. The poster features a lifelike setting with Kathir featuring broken glasses and Divya Bharathi curiously leaning in with a kind of fear/respect written across her face.
The red background is accompanied with the tagline “A love story with a mystery."
About 'Aasai'
Shiv Mohaa announced that the genre of the film would be a romance thriller. 'Aasai' was shot in Chennai over a duration of 25 days, making the story short and crisp. The film has two songs, both by music director Revaa, and will use music as a supporting element rather than a focus. The name of the film,'Aasai', represents the central theme of the film: desire and how desires can bring one into a series of complicated situations if left unchecked.
On the technical side, 'Aasai' promises a great team with Babu Kumar IE’s cinematography likely adding to the mood, along with R Sudharsan’s editing and S Rajamohan’s art direction. Kathir is reported to be in a subtle mode for his performance, and Divya Bharathi is said to have a much more intense role than she has had before.
