Abhishek Kumar on fulfilling his biggest milestone, says, “Owning a house in Mumbai always felt like a distant dream”

Television actor and Bigg Boss 17 finalist Abhishek Kumar recently gave himself one of the biggest gifts on his birthday in August. The actor, who came to Mumbai with big dreams, has now bought his first-ever house in the city.

Abhishek shared that owning a home in Mumbai always felt like a faraway dream, but this year he was finally able to make it come true by purchasing a beautiful 2BHK in a high-rise building.Almost half a month after this achievement, Abhishek opened up about the emotional journey behind it. In conversation with Hindustan Times, Abhishek shared, “Coming from Chandigarh, owning a house in Mumbai always felt like a distant dream.

When it finally happened, I was emotional — not just for me, but for my parents as well.” Talking about how he feels proud of himself as his dreams are coming true, the actor added, “We’ve lived in rented homes for years.

This place gives us a sense of stability. Such an achievement makes me feel proud that I am now able to make all their dreams come true.”The actor further shared that the decision to buy the house was not planned.

“There was no plan to buy a house in Mumbai, but for the past few months, coming back to the rented apartment felt like something was amiss. It was a quick decision, and now, seeing how proud my parents are, I feel it was truly a good decision.” Abhishek revealed that the family is planning to move into their new home in September itself and will also be holding a proper griha pravesh ceremony.To share the good news with his fans, Abhishek posted a series of pictures from his new home.

Standing with pride and gratitude, he also penned a heartfelt note. He wrote, “NAYE GHAR KA SHREE GANESH. Sabse pehle to aap sabka dil se shukriya itna pyaar aur itni pyaari-pyaari birthday wishes dene ke liye.” (First of all, a thank you to all from the bottom of my heart for showering me with so much love and such beautiful birthday wishes.

Abhishek added, “Aaj aap sabke pyaar ki wajah se, meri mehnat aur parivaar ke aashirwad se maine apna ek bohot bada sapna poora kar liya — Mumbai mein mera pehla chhota sa, pyaara sa ghar kharid kar.

Itna accha lag raha hai ki kya bataun.” (Today, because of your love, my hard work, and my family’s blessings, I’ve fulfilled one of my biggest dreams — I’ve bought my very first little home in Mumbai. The feeling is beyond words.

)He concluded the post by saying, “Bohot mehnat ki hai yahan tak pahunchne ke liye, bohot kuch sacrifice kiya hai aur utna hi pyaar aap sabne diya hai.
