Active Covid-19 Cases In India Reach 4,302, 44 Deaths Reported So Far | Latest Updates

India reported 276 new COVID-19 cases and seven deaths in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of active cases to 4,302 and the overall death toll to 44.

At least 276 Covid-19 cases were reported in India during the last 24 hours, taking the total number of active Covid-19 cases to 4,302, with Kerala accounting for the highest number of infections at 1,373. Maharashtra has logged 510 cases, Gujarat 461 and West Bengal 432.

The national capital has recorded at least 457 Covid-19 infections. A total of 44 Covid-related deaths have been reported in the country so far, the highest being in Maharashtra with 14 fatalities.

At least seven deaths were reported in the last 24 hours, with Maharashtra accounting for four of them. Gujarat and Delhi also reported one Covid-related death in this time period.

Five deaths have been reported in Delhi, while Kerala logged 9 fatalities. Four deaths were reported each in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. So far, Arunachal Pradesh remains the only state which has not reported a single Covid-19 case so far.
