Candace Cameron Bure is reflecting on her time on Full House as the beloved family sitcom marks its 38th anniversary. In an Instagram post on Monday, September 22, the 49-year-old actress shared a series of photos and memories from her years on the show.
Full House premiered on ABC on September 22, 1987, and ran for eight seasons until 1995. Bure played D.J. Tanner, the eldest daughter of the Tanner family.“38 years since we first met the Tanners?? Oh, Mylanta!!

.”Bure’s post included a range of throwback photos, from early days on set to moments at Disneyland with the cast. Several pictures featured her late on-screen father, Bob Saget, who died in 2022. Other images showed Bure with Lori Loughlin (Aunt Becky), Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie Tanner), Andrea Barber (Kimmy Gibbler), and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen (Michelle Tanner).Additional photos highlighted John Stamos (Uncle Jesse) and Scott Weinger, who played D.J.’s boyfriend Steve Hale. Bure also shared a video of the cast taking their final bows after filming the series finale on February 24, 1995.
