AIMIM invites applications from candidates for upcoming municipal polls

Indicating that the party is gearing up for the municipal polls, the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) has invited applications from aspirants seeking to contest the upcoming municipal polls.

According to an official statement, the party stated that those interested in contesting are required to apply per a mandated process. Application forms are available for downloading from the party’s official Facebook page. They should be submitted, duly filled, along with a non-refundable demand draft of ₹3,000 drawn in favour of the party.

Interested persons have been directed to submit forms to the the president of their respective districts. The last date for submission is January 20.

Town presidents have been directed to collect completed applications and forward them to the AIMIM headquarters at Darussalam in Hyderabad. The party has made it clear that no announcement of candidate names should be made at the district or town level. Final candidate list will be decided by party president and Hyderabad parliamentarian Asaduddin Owaisi.
