Akshay Kumar’s ‘Jolly LLB 3’ sees over 60 % jump on 4th Tuesday

Jolly LLB 3, starring Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi, is demonstrating remarkable box office resilience, nearing its fourth week. Despite a dip on Monday, Tuesday saw a significant 63% jump in collections, pushing the film towards the Rs 114 crore mark. Makers hope it surpasses Jolly LLB 2's lifetime earnings amidst competition from other releases.

Akshay Kumar’s latest release Jolly LLB 3 with Arshad Warsi, Saurabh Shukla, directed by Subhash Kapoor is all set to complete 4 weeks at the box office. One usually expects the film to lose steam as it enters 3rd and 4th week but the third installment of Jolly series is showing amazing resilience at the box office as on Tuesday it showed a nearly 63 % jump in its collection as it earned Rs 49 lakh as per Sacnilk.

Over the past 10 days the film crossed Rs 1 crore mark only twice and that was only on 4th Saturday and Sunday. Even on 4th Monday its collection crashed by almost 74 % to earn just Rs 30 lakh. But on Tuesday which is usually the day when cinema halls give discounts on tickets- the collection jumped to Rs 49 lakh to take the overall collection of the film to Rs 113.74 crore. The makers would be hoping that Jolly LLB 3 somehow manages to cross the lifetime collection of Jolly LLB 2 which stands at Rs 117 crore.

The film is also staying steady in Rishab Shetty’s Kantara 2 strom which over the past 13 days has already collected Rs 465.75 crore while Varun Dhawan- Janhvi Kapoor’s ’s Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari has minted more than Rs 52 crore.

Akshay will now be next seen only in 2026 with Priyadarshan’s Boot Bangla which also features Paresh Rawal, Tabu and Wamiqa Gabbi. Akshay has also wrapped up Priyadarshan’s Haiwaan with Saif Ali Khan and Saiyama Kher while Hera Pheri 3 with Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal is expected to start soon. Akshay is also rumoured to team up with Anees Bazmee for Hindi remake of Sankranthiki Vasthunam- the biggest hit of Venkatesh’s career.
