All set for vote counting in Kozhikode district

Preparations are in full swing in Kozhikode district for the counting of votes for the Kerala Assembly elections on May 4. District Collector Snehil Kumar Singh convened a meeting of political party representatives on Thursday (April 30, 2026).

Key topics discussed included arrangements at the counting centres, facilities for counting agents, preparations for counting day and procedures for counting postal ballots and Electronic Voting Machines. Mr. Singh urged political parties to fully cooperate in ensuring a transparent and peaceful counting process and that no untoward incidents occur on counting day.
