Allison Williams opens up about working in ‘Regretting You’
In a recent interview with USA TODAY, the actress opened up about working on a dramatic story like ‘Regretting You,’ and how often she felt that the audience would not like this side of her. She shared that, “I just didn't think of myself as a romantic lead. I don’t know if I want to see myself get the guy or whatever. I don’t know if I would root for myself on screen. But I was like, if (director Josh Boone) thinks I can do this, then maybe there's something about my vibe that I can't detect that is actually going to work in this medium.” She further delved into how a lot of her friends across the country have been excited to see her work in the film as well. This has made working in ‘Regretting You’ all the more special for her this time around. “I'm glad to make something that's not too scary for a good chunk of the people in my life to watch,” she added, citing that a lot of people cannot watch her horror and thriller works, but this is something that can be approached by many people. In the lead, Williams is joined by Dave Franco,
