In a sharp response to the strike on its largest bridge in Karaj, Iran vowed it will be “rebuilt stronger", warning America’s standing in the world “will never recover", Al Jazeera reports.

Iran’s iconic B1 bridge, the highest in the entire Middle East, was cut in half after it was struck by joint US-Israeli strikes. The strike followed US President Donald Trump’s warning that Tehran will be pushed “back to the Stone Age" if it refuses to engage in peace talks.

In a post on Truth Social, the US President shared a video, showing explosion at the site and warned that “the biggest bridge in Iran comes tumbling down, never to be used again".

He added Tehran must “make a deal before it is too late and there is nothing left of what still could become a great country."

According to the Al Jazeera report, citing local officials, at least eight people were killed and 95 were injured in the strikes on the bridge.
