Andhra Minister Narayana launches Land Pooling Scheme-II in Amaravati

Andhra Pradesh Municipal Administration ​Minister P. Narayana and Tadikonda MLA T. Sravan Kumar launched the Land Pooling Scheme-II at Vaddamanu village in Thullur Mandal of Guntur district on Wednesday (January 7, 2026). 

On the occasion, Mr. Narayana announced ₹1.50 lakh debt waiver for families who gave their lands for construction of the Capital Amaravati. “Loans taken by the farmers till January 6, 2026 are eligible for waiver,” he stated. 

He said the Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has agreed to increase the lease rent given to farmers and necessary action would be taken in the due course. 

Further, Mr. Narayana said works costing ₹55,000 crore were progressing at a brisk pace in Amaravati and they were poised to be completed in three years.

A total of 16,667 acres in seven revenue villages are being pooled up for constructing Amaravati railway station and laying the new line, development of an international sports city and for inner ring road.
