Andrew Tate announced on October 30, 2025, that he is now the Chief Executive Officer of Misfits Boxing, the company founded by KSI. Tate made his debut as “CEO – Combat Executive Officer” via a post on X. He says the change happened because KSI tweeted something three years ago, and Tate felt that gave him the right to step in.
He added that he has never met KSI and hopes he is okay, but the tweet set this takeover in motion.
Andrew Tate, a former kick-boxing world champion, also revealed he plans to fight the heavyweight champion of Misfits Boxing, Chase De Moor, on December 20, 2025, in Dubai. He claims this will be the biggest show the company has ever staged. His dual role as CEO and fighter has stirred plenty of discussion across the combat-sports scene.
Andrew Tate reveals how one KSI tweet sparked his Misfits Boxing takeover
Tate said, “Well, KSI tweeted something that annoyed me about three years ago. So, long story short, I took his company from him… I never met the guy; I hope he is okay.”He argued that since he is “the largest name on the planet” and he was going to fight in the organisation, owning a piece of it “makes a lot of business sense.”
The promotion’s president, Mams Taylor, backed the move, saying KSI’s repeated delays and absence from the ring had hurt the brand and a new leader who will fight and promote is required.
Meanwhile, KSI reacted to the announcement, but his full response is still unfolding.
