'Anupamaa' December 24 episode recap: Diwakar confesses; Rajni Desai's jewelry disappears and chaos ensues

'Anupamaa,' one of the most beloved shows on TV currently, is on a roll with some of their latest episodes. The December 24 update shines light on major incidents, and the introduction of a new character also causes quite a stir in Anupama's home.

'Anupamaa' December 24 Episode recap

The episode begins with Anupama and Rahi having a conversation about the latter's school friend. Rahi expresses that she does not trust her and that she also does not feel good about her intentions for some reason.

Rahi is approached by Diwakar; chaos ensues

The scene shifts to Rahi and her music teacher, Diwakar. During what was assumed to be a lighthearted conversation, her teacher ends up confessing his feelings for her. Chaos ensues as Rahi rejects him upfront after the initial shock wears off.

This, however, adds fuel to the fire as he tries to force his confession on her.Anupama, however, intervenes just at the right time, and Rahi leaves with her mother. Rahi's husband, Prem, comes into the scene later on and shares how he fully supports her no matter what and that she did not do anything wrong and should take action against Diwakar. Her mother also suggests that she file an official complaint with the school for his actions, and Prem agrees.

Diwakar, on the other hand, does not realize the gravity of the situation. He convinces himself that there is still a chance for him and Rahi. He also managed to convince himself that it's Anupama's fault that the two of them are not together.

Rajni Desai's jewelry debacle

Rajni Desai's jewelry has been a hot topic since the last few episodes. On the December 24 update, Pakhi officially finds out that Ishani is behind the stolen jewelry and has actually sold everything, leaving her shocked.

The scene shifts to her having a conversation with Ishani and urging her to get her hands back on the jewelry.

Rajni tries to get Anupama to sign some papers

Rajni visits Anupama at her chawl and tries to get her to sign some papers as quickly as possible. However, before anything can happen, Sarita Tai announces that the jewelry has been stolen in a panicked rush, leaving everyone shocked. Ishani and Pakhi attempt to save face by blaming it all on Sarita Tai. The mother-daughter duo are stopped, however, once Anupama expresses how she trusts Sarita.

Rajni puts all things aside and instead announces that the jewelry is not as important to her as her son's wedding is.She announces that the haldi ceremony is to continue as is.

December 24 episode preview

The show ends with showing fans a quick preview of the upcoming episode, which will air tonight. The preview shows the entry of a new character, Prerna.Creating curiosity amongst fans, the preview also shows rising jealousy in Rahi as Prerna gets closer to Anupama and Prem.
