‘Anupamaa’ picks up from the events of the last episode as Anupama finally realizes the kind of game Rajni played with her. She now also knows the motive behind making Bharti her daughter-in-law, leaving her heartbroken.
Anupama tells Rajni that what she is doing is wrong and that only time will tell her fate.
Everyone supports Anupama, except Rahi
Anupama declares that she would rather die than have anything happen to the chawl. She announces that she will do everything in her power to diminish the redevelopment and demolition plans for the chawl.Parag also calls out Rajni for her actions and tell sher that she was in the wrong to get Anupama’s signatures like this. Rajni criticizes him and tells him that the chawl needs to be demolished.
Parag comments that it may not be possible, as Anupama never backs down. Everyone stands by Anupama’s side, except for Rahi.
The Shahs remain divided over Anupama
The Shahs also learn about what happened to the chawl. While Babuji fully supports Anupama and says that it is not her fault, Paritosh and Pakhi say otherwise. They both insist that their mother is a loser for falling for Rajni’s tactics and trusting her. Ba also calls Anupama out for her actions.
She also says that they should call Anupama back there; however, Babuji refuses to do so.Paritosh and Pakhi, however, insist that they will call Pari and Ishani home instead.
Anupama stops Rajni from celebrating
Rajni goes back to her home and celebrates the demolition of the chawl; however, is stopped by Anupama, who confronts her and asks her why she did all of this. She tells her that she did all of this because she wanted to have power and money. Anupama tells her that she has stolen the residents’ dreams, hopes, and lives because of the project. The next episode’s promo shows Anupama confronting Rajni at her house. She insists that the curse of the poor will ruin her. As the two argue, Rajni calls her security to throw Anupama out. Barefoot and on the streets, Anupama reaches a nearby temple and pleads to god to save the chawl. Just then, Parag enters the screen.
