A month back, former running back for the Seattle Seahawks, Adrian Peterson, was arrested for drunk driving. And now this. TMZ Sports was the first one to report it, and they also obtained the video footage.
The footage showed Adrian Peterson fist fighting with a poker player. It ensued after a dispute over a hand. TMZ Sports also reported that the event took place on May 27. Peterson was playing cards with others at JokerStars, a club in Houston, Texas. The former NFL MVP told TMZ staff that he and one of his buddies were involved in a disagreement while at a gaming table, and one thing led to another. “AP not tired of losing fights?” - commented a fan who went back to Peterson’s boxing days. One in particular - in 2022, Peterson fought former Pittsburgh Steelers RB Le’Veon Bell in an exhibition boxing match, and Bell won that match!

In the video footage, Adrian Peterson is throwing punches at a fellow poker player.
A security guard tried to get in their brawl, but the unnamed poker player pushed him aside and threw a punch at Peterson. Peterson threw another at the player. Then, they both were unstoppable. Peterson cornered him behind a long white table and threw many punches at once. Watching this video footage, many fans expressed their views.

Adrian Peterson has a history of allegedly punishing his 4-year-old son by whipping him with a tree branch
On September 12, 2014, Jessica Glenza of The Guardian reported that Adrian Peterson allegedly punished his 4-year-old son by whipping him with a tree branch, leaving cuts and bruises on the boy’s legs, back, buttocks, hand, and scrotum.
Back then, Peterson told the police that he believed what had happened was only normal discipline. Peterson said, “To be honest, I feel very confident with my actions because I know my intent.

Peterson told TMZ Sports on June 19, 2025, “Me and my guy? We’re cool. We’ve known each other. It was literally like a brother situation.
