Arc Raiders is recovering from a recent server outage in the US. This comes after players reported difficulties accessing the Embark Studios title, citing persistent "network timeout" error messages and other login failures.
According to the outage-tracking website DownDetector, during the outage’s peak, more than 11,000 players reported issues with the game. However, the number of reports drastically reduced after a couple of hours as the service appeared to be restored. The reported problems primarily centred on server-related issues, including the game failing to load, an inability to log in, and some players becoming stuck in waiting queues. Players from around the US, including Washington, Atlanta, Detroit, Tampa and other cities, reported issues with the game. However, the most complaints came from New York, Chicago, Seattle, San Francisco and Los Angeles.

Several players shared comments to describe how the outage affected them. One player wrote: “ONLINE CONNECTION ERROR, Online services are currently unavailable. ARAU0277". as of November 15th, 12:57 AM - US East.”
“I'm no longer in queue but then it crashes/closes no message is displayed....meh,” another one wrote.A third player wrote: “Yeah ive been in que for like 30 mins, watching my buddies still play tho..”“Strange that my partner and I started our game at the same time. She logged in just fine and I'm still waiting 20 minutes later,” a fourth player wrote.
What is Arc Raiders
Arc Raiders is a third-person extraction shooter launched in 2025. The game is set on a post-apocalyptic Earth where players scavenge for resources while facing both other players and robotic enemies known as the “ARC.” Developed by Embark Studios, it is available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. Players must extract with their loot to keep it and the game can be played solo or in teams of two or three.
