Armed miscreants rob jewellery shop in Ramgarh

Ramgarh: Armed miscreants robbed gold and silver ornaments worth Rs 25 lakh from a jewellery shop in Bhurkunda under Bhurkunda outpost police station of Ramgarh district late on Saturday.

Five miscreants entered the shop posing as customers and looted at gunpoint.Upendra Kumar, officer in-charge of Bhurkunda outpost police station on Sunday said that probe is underway to identify the culprits. "Miscreants had snapped the CCTV wires to hide their faces. The shop owner, in his written complaint, claimed that jewellery worth Rs 25 lakh was looted.”
