Special trains between Visakhapatnam-SMVT Bengaluru to clear festival rush

Special trains will be operated by the East Coast Railway (ECoR) between Visakhapatnam and SMVT Bengaluru to clear the extra rush of passengers during the festival season.

Train number 08501 Visakhapatnam – SMVT Bengaluru special will leave Visakhapatnam on December 15 at 3.20 p.m. and reach SMVT Bengaluru on December 16 at 12.45 p.m.

In the return direction, train number 08502 SMVT Bengaluru – Visakhapatnam special will leave SMVT Bengaluru on December 16 at 3.50 p.m. and arrive in Visakhapatnam on December 17 at 1.30 p.m., according to K. Pavan Kumar, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager of Waltair.

The special will run with 20 coaches, including 2nd AC-1, 3rd AC-2, Sleeper-12, General Class-3 and Second-Class luggage cum brake vans-2.

These trains will have stoppages at Anakapalli, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Vijayawada, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Renigunta, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Bangarpet and Krishnarajapuram.
