Arti Singh remembers her bond with Rupali Ganguly during a shoot with ‘mama’ Govinda; says 'I remember not leaving her side, she was just 16 years old'

Bigg Boss 13 fame Arti Singh recently met Anupamaa actress Rupali Ganguly at an event and couldn’t stop praising her. The actress took to her social media account and revisited fond memories of them, She spoke about her long-standing bond with Rupali, which dates back to the 1990s.

Arti shared a note in which she fondly recalled her first meeting with Rupali when she was barely 16-years-old. Arti remembered how Rupali was just 16 years old when she worked in a film with Arti’s uncle, Bollywood superstar Govinda. She mentioned in the post how her bond with Rupali has remained strong over the years. She penned a note and expressed her emotions, Arti wrote, “Meeting her after ages …she was just 16 when she did a film with my mama do aankhen barah hath ..

I remember not leaving her side . She was just 16 years old.”Further in the note, she added, “So so pretty and she still his . Same energy .. and loving and so down to earth then and now . We met after 2 decades but it dint feel like … more power to u @rupaliganguly .. her dialogues are iconic .. that’s y putting this one my latest favourite.”

In her post, Arti wrote that meeting Rupali after so many years felt like time had completely stood still.

She recounted that Rupali has remained the same and has not changed at all. The Waaris actress praised Rupali for her warmth, humility and positive energy.The Bigg Boss 13 contestant also lauded Rupali for her TV show Anupamaa and her work, especially her dialogue delivery.For the uninitiated, Rupali Ganguly has been ruling the TRP charts with her successful show Anupamaa. She plays the title role with the same name.

The show has been on air for five years and continues to top the TRP charts.Rupali is the daughter of late filmmaker Anil Ganguly, who passed away in 2016 at the age of 82. He is best known for directing the classic film Kora Kagaz, released in 1974 and starring Jaya Bhaduri.His 1976 film Tapasya, featuring Rakhee, along with Kora Kagaz, won the National Film Award for Best Popular Film. He also directed the 1985 movie Saaheb, starring Anil Kapoor and Amrita Singh.Rupali has also been a part of other successful shows like Sanjeevani, Sarabhai vs Sarabhai.and Parrvarish amongst others.
