Assam Rifles emphasizes on border security

Shillong: The two-day Assam Rifles Inspector Generals’ Conference 2025 concluded at the Headquarters Directorate General Assam Rifles (DGAR) at Laitkor, Upper Shillong on Tuesday with emphasis on maintaining security along the frontiers, including the Indo-Myanmar international border.The conference, chaired by Lieutenant General Vikas Lakhera, the director general of Assam Rifles, was attended by Formation Commanders, Battalion Commanders, and Staff Officers from Headquarters DGAR and Formations.Key highlights included discussions on enhancing the capability and combat potential of the force and more.
