Augsburg's Robin Fellhauer Discharged From Hospital Following Concussion Against Bayern Munich

The 27-year-old midfielder suffered a concussion following a collision with Bayern defender Sacha Boey in stoppage time in Augsburg's 2-3 loss to the Bavarian giants.

Augsburg player Robin Fellhauer, who had to be stretchered out of the field during his side’s fixture agianst Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga, was dischagred from the hospital on Sunday.

The 27-year-old midfielder suffered a concussion following a collision with Bayern defender Sacha Boey in stoppage time in Augsburg’s 2-3 loss to the Bavarian giants.

“Our number 19 has now left the hospital following yesterday’s collision. He has a severe concussion and is doing as well as can be expected under the circumstances," the club said in a statement.

“The FCA family wishes you a speedy recovery and we’re keeping our fingers crossed that you’ll be back on the pitch soon," the club added.
