The Special Task Force of the Bihar Police on Sunday arrested two men allegedly wanted in connection with an armed bank robbery in Madhya Pradesh’s Jabalpur district earlier this month. Police also recovered over 3 kg of gold jewellery.

Additional Director General of Bihar Police (Headquarters and Operations) Kundan Krishnan said, “On August 11, unidentified armed assailants looted 14.873 kilograms of gold jewellery, along with cash exceeding Rs 5 lakh, from the Khitola branch of ESAF Bank in Jabalpur district of Madhya Pradesh.”

Following the incident, inputs regarding the suspects’ presence in Bihar had been communicated to the police in Bihar.
