'Because of Virat Kohli... ': Actress Shehnaaz Gill praises star batter, names what she likes most about him

Punjabi actress Shehnaaz Gill has revealed that her love for cricket began because of one player - Virat Kohli. Known for her vibrant personality, Shehnaaz said it was the former India captain’s attitude and passion on the field that drew her to the sport. While she was initially hesitant to choose, she eventually smiled and said, “Date, hangout and ditch, everything with Virat Kohli.”

Meanwhile, Kohli continues to draw praise from around the cricketing world. Former Australia captain Steve Waugh recently hailed him as “the greatest one-day player of all time” and a “once-in-a-generation” cricketer. Speaking to reporters in New Delhi, Waugh said, “Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are two all-time great players. Virat Kohli is probably the greatest one-day player of all time.”

Kohli, who made his return to international cricket during the ODI series against Australia after a five-month break, will next feature in India’s three-match ODI series against South Africa starting November 30.Kohli also made headlines as wishes poured in on his birthday.
