Belagavi tech meet 2025: BeTCA launches AI chatbot, unveils 3 innovations

BELAGAVI: The Belagavi Technologies Companies Association (BeTCA) unveiled its flagship AI initiative, BeTCA Assist, at the 4th annual Belagavi Tech Meet 2025 on Saturday evening.

The chatbot has been designed to help citizens connect with IT services companies in Belagavi for consultation and solutions.BeTCA, the premier association of IT-BPO firms in the city, hosted this year’s tech meet under the theme “Tech for Human Impact.” The event highlighted how tier-2 cities like Belagavi are emerging as innovation hubs, developing technologies with global relevance.Alongside BeTCA Assist, three member-driven innovations were launched:

The event also featured two panel discussions. The first, “Inventing the Future: How Founders Are Building Life-Changing DeepTech Products,” included insights from Kawal Arora (Founder, Desi LLM) and Akash Kulgod (Founder, Dognosis). The second, “From Tier-2 to Global: Shared Learnings of Corporate Leaders and Entrepreneurs,” brought perspectives from Leena Padihari (Proprietor & CFO, Alfanzyme Life Science), Shekhar Gaonkar (Founder & CEO, PetCart), and Allahbaksh (Centre Head, Infosys Hubli; Associate VP, Infosys). It was moderated by Aadil Bandukwala (VP, Hackerrank).The meet drew wide participation from entrepreneurs, innovators, and corporate leaders across the region. The event was managed by Amit Soundalgekar, Gajendra Tripathi, Abhay Karandikar, and RK Patil.
