Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on the Mamata Banerjee-led West Bengal government, saying that it is actively protecting those accused in the Teacher Recruitment Scam (SSC scam), thereby jeopardizing the state’s entire education system. Speaking at a rally, PM Modi expressed grave concern for the future of countless poor families in Bengal whose aspirations have been shattered by the widespread corruption.
“The future of countless poor families in Bengal now looms in deep darkness due to this SSC scam," PM Modi said as he highlighted the plight of deserving candidates who have been denied opportunities due to the fraudulent recruitment practices.
PM said, “The state government has ruined the careers of many talented teachers in Bengal."
