Krafton India has rolled out the Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) 4.2 update featuring major lifestyle crossovers. The latest version introduces rideable Royal Enfield motorcycles and a collaboration with the “Peaky Blinders” TV series.

These additions are part of a broader "Primewood Genesis" theme mode that adds fantasy elements and magic to the battleground. While the update is live now, the Royal Enfield Bullet 350 and Continental GT 650 bikes, as well as the Peaky Blinders outfit,s will officially debut in-game on January 19. The update also revamps the competitive system with a new "Promotion Match" mechanic for higher ranks. Players can now earn rewards like Thomas Shelby voice packs and specialised outfits through upcoming events.

BGMI 4.2 update brings Primewood Genesis-themed mode and other new content

BGMI 4.2 update‘s Primewood Genesis-themed mode includes the Tree of Life and the Corrupting Flower, which releases poison that immediately kills any player who touches it. The mode also brings new items and abilities, including the Golden Fruit, which gives players a bulletproof jacket that protects them until it runs out of health and can bring players back to life if they get knocked down.The update also adds new companion animals and vehicles, like the Thorn Scorpion and the Cherry Blossom Deer, both of which have unique special powers.

The Primewood Genesis mode also includes the Prime Eye feature, which gives abilities like Barrier, Teleport, and Heal. In addition to these gameplay features, the 4.2 update introduces Flora Wings, allowing players to fly freely.Along with these new features, the update brings improvements like letting players open their parachutes just a few meters before landing, as well as better gyroscope-based aiming that makes controls smoother and easier to use.Beyond main gameplay updates, the update also brings improvements to Metro Royale, bringing back the Skyhigh Spectacle mode, along with a new weapon, the Honey Badger, which heals the player when they eliminate an enemy. On top of these additions, players can also enjoy a new Royale Pass, offering crate coupons, emotes, and other rewards.As part of the collaboration, players will be able to ride the Royal Enfield 350 and Continental GT 650 motorcycles in BGMI, available in-game from January 19. Along with these bikes, the collaboration also features Royal Enfield-themed content and rewards, available through the SPIN format from January 19–22, including items like the Revel 01 Set, Bullet Line – P90 gun skin, CrankGuard helmet, and Roadborn Rucksack backpack.
