Bigg Boss 19: Gauahar Khan criticises Kunickaa Sadanand for dragging Tanya Mittal’s mother in nomination task, says ‘Double standards much’

Gauahar Khan, who recently gave birth to her second child, has been keeping up with Bigg Boss 19 and shared her disappointment with Kunickaa Sadanand’s behaviour in the house. Gauahar strongly criticised Kunickaa for dragging Tanya Mittal’s mother into a nomination task and pointed out the double standards in her approach.The incident took place during Monday’s episode when a nomination task led to a heated clash between Tanya and Kunickaa. In the task, housemates were required to count for 19 minutes while performing it in pairs, and the rest of the contestants were allowed to distract them. During Tanya’s turn, Kunickaa chose to target her with personal remarks, going as far as bringing up Tanya’s mother and her upbringing.Tanya, after the round, was seen breaking down in tears. Actor Gaurav Khanna stepped in to calm Tanya down and even called out Kunickaa for going too far.On Tuesday, Gauahar took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to slam Kunickaa for bringing up Tanya Mittal’s mother in the task, which made her break down in tears. Gauahar wrote, “Khud ke maa hone ki duhai dena, bahar ki baat mat karo n all that, n to actually state things on someone else’s mother so easily, is shocking.” She added another post, saying, “Double standards much!!! #bb19 Hope being 61 still makes u eligible for criticism.

Woh expect karo jo aap offer kar sakte hain warna na karo.”Gauahar wasn’t the only one who took issue with Kunickaa’s remarks about Tanya Mittal’s mother during the nomination task. Many social media users were upset by the comments. One fan wrote, “Shame on you #KunickaaSadanand went on Tanya’s mother, and that was totally wrong! Gaurav took the right stand for her.” Another shared, “I don’t like Tanya but Kunickaa, you’re wrong here.”

Others reminded Kunickaa that she too has a family and should not repeatedly attack someone else’s mother.

One viewer posted, “Kunickaa got wings after Salman praised her. Wrong is wrong no matter how much u struggled or aged.”This isn’t the first time Gauahar has come out in support of Tanya Mittal. In an earlier episode, when Tanya refused to clean the smoking area and was targeted by several housemates, Gauahar had tweeted, “Clearly threatened by Taniya, everyone attacking her for no reason. #sad !!!” She had also praised Tanya, saying that she cannot be ignored inside the Bigg Boss house.
