Aurangabad: Samajwadi Party chief and former Uttar Pradesh CM Akhilesh Yadav on Tuesday said that people of Bihar have “made up their minds for change” and will oust the ruling NDA govt.Addressing a rally at Daudnagar in support of the RJD candidates Rishi Kumar (Obra) and Amrendra Kushwaha (Goh), Yadav said Bihar is ready to replace “an exhausted old leadership” with a “young and visionary leader,” referring to Tejaswi Prasad Yadav as the CM face of INDIA bloc.Drawing parallels between his tenure in UP and Tejaswi’s leadership, Akhilesh recalled the introduction of “quick response policing” in UP, modelled on American systems, and said similar reforms could transform Bihar’s law and order situation. He questioned the NDA’s two-decade rule in Bihar and the 10-year rule of the BJP at the Centre, asking what tangible progress had been achieved during this period. “Why has migration continued unabated? Why were jobs not created?” he asked the crowd.Taking a jibe at the NDA’s promise to transfer Rs10,000 into women’s accounts, Yadav described it as an “attempt at electoral bribery,” asserting that the people of Bihar are alert and determined to elect Tejaswi as their next CM.
