Birthday Party Ends In Horror: BMW Crash On Mumbai-Delhi Expressway Kills Two

Eyewitnesses said the crash was extremely gruesome, with body parts of the deceased scattered up to half a kilometre.

A birthday celebration turned tragic when a speeding BMW crashed into a divider and overturned several times on the under-construction Mumbai-Delhi Expressway near Badlapur in the early hours of Sunday, killing two youths and injuring their friend, who was driving the vehicle.

According to police, the incident occurred around 3 am. The vehicle was heading towards Badlapur from Titwala when, near the Aeranjad area, the speeding car lost control and hit a roadside iron divider. The impact was so severe that the car was thrown nearly 200 metres and was completely damaged.

Eyewitnesses said the crash was extremely gruesome, with body parts of the deceased scattered up to half a kilometre. A young man and a young woman died on the spot, while another youth sustained serious injuries and was rushed to Jupiter Hospital in Thane.

Police are conducting a detailed investigation into the matter.
