BJP issues show cause notice to MLA Pritam Lodhi over threat to IPS officer

The Bharatiya Janata Party on Wednesday (April 22, 2026) issued a show cause notice to Pritam Lodhi, MLA from Pichhore in Shivpuri district, over his recent remarks threatening an IPS officer who questioned his son in a hit and run case. The move comes a day after the Madhya Pradesh IPS Association criticised his remarks.

Terming Mr. Lodhi’s recent behaviour as highly objectionable, BJP’s Madhya Pradesh unit president Hemant Khandelwal sought a clarification within three days.
