BJP Mahila Morcha stages protest condemning Minister Laxmi Hebbalkar

Members of the BJP Mahila Morcha staged a protest in Belagavi on Friday, condemning Minister for Women and Child Development Laxmi Hebbalkar fo0r the alleged delay in release of Gruha Laxmi monthly incentive.

They sat in dharna at the Rani Chennamma circle and raised slogans against the Minister. The protesters said that the Minister was negligent about the problems faced by poor women, especially in rural areas.

They alleged that Ms. Hebbalkar had been negligent and irresponsible and was trying to pass on the blame to officers.

Geeta Sutar, Deepa Kudchi, Uma Jadhav, and others took part in the protest.
