Blood-soaked body of woman found under mysterious circumstances in UP

A 20-year-old woman was found brutally murdered in a maize field in Moradabad's Mainather area on Sunday, sending shockwaves across the local community. The body of the woman was discovered by her mother, blood-soaked and bearing multiple stab wounds, indicating a violent attack.

According to the police, the woman had gone missing on Saturday evening after she left home to gather fodder for the family's cattle. Her family searched for her through the night but found no clues to her whereabouts. The next morning, around 11 am, her mother, while continuing the search, reached the fields near a temple on Naroda Road. There, in a maize field belonging to a man named Jabbar, she found her daughter's body.

The woman's body had deep knife wounds, suggesting she had been killed with extreme cruelty. Following a complaint by the family, police registered a murder case against a youth named Rafi, who is now on the run.

Senior Superintendent of Police Satpal Antil visited the crime scene and said that efforts are underway to track down the accused. The police have launched a thorough investigation into the incident and are combing the area for clues.
