On his birthday, Nani was unveiled as the lead in director Sujeeth’s new film, 'Bloody Romeo', where he plays a sharp-tongued "number one gangster" plotting a lethal scheme. Introduced through a slick animated teaser, the project will go on floors this summer once Nani completes work on 'The Paradise'.
Director Sujeeth, known for his high-octane action, will be working with Nani for their project. Today on Nani’s birthday, makers announced the film’s name with a stylish animated teaser which portrays the Natural Star as a “number one gangster”.
The movie is named ‘Bloody Romeo’.

The makers took to their social media handle to share the 2-minute animated announcement video. The teaser has brilliant animation and some solid looking tranistions. Nani is portrayed that he present at a gangster’s den where he is seen cooking a meal with a pressure cooker. Nani is shown chopping onions, thrashing garlics and adding salt and pepper with a sassy manner. He seems to be cooking for some gangsters who are having a meeting at the building called the gangster den.
As he completes his recipe, a single explosion is missing as he puts a hand grenade on the lid. As the pressure builds up, the lid flies in the air only for the grenade to explode on the gangster’s table and killing them all. He walks out of the place with a cool demeanour as his cigar get light in style. A tagline surfaces, “He’s No. 1 Chef,” where chef gets crossed to become, “He’s No. 1 Gangster.”

The background music features a sleek English song with modern beats. It is named ‘No1 Gangsta’.
Shoot begins in summer
The movie ‘Bloody Romeo’ written and directed by Sujeeth, will begin shooting in the summer.Nani is completing his next film, ‘The Paradise,’ and it seems that he will begin working on the next project after completing the latter.
Speaking of ‘The Paradise’, it is directed by Srikanth Odela, where Nani has a distinct look as he dons long hair with braids and a heavy moustache. The movie is set to hit the big screens on August 21.Sujeeth last directed ‘They Call Him OG’ with Pawan Kalyan, which was another gangster action drama set in Mumbai. The film became a superhit.
