AHMEDABAD: Three schools in Ahmedabad received bomb threats via email on Wednesday, prompting immediate security measures.Police teams have been dispatched to each school to inspect the premises and ensure the safety of students and staff.Sharad Singhal, joint police commissioner of the Ahmedabad Crime Branch, confirmed the incidents.Earlier, in October, the Gujarat High Court had received a bomb threat email, marking the fourth such incident this year.The message had been sent to the registrar's official email, following which Sola police were informed. A bomb squad and dog squad immediately conducted a thorough search of the premises, but nothing suspicious was found.Similar threats had been received previously on June 9, August 20, and September 15, all of which had triggered extensive security checks. The Sola High Court police registered an FIR and launched an investigation into the matter.(With agency inputs)
