Boys’ fight leads to death of parent in Arasikere in Karnataka’s Hassan district

A fight between two students over a petty issue ended in the murder of a parent at Muzavar Mohalla of Arasikere in Hassan district.

The deceased has been identified as Toufeek (30). He suffered serious head injuries allegedly in a scuffle with Farhan of the same locality on August 25. Toufeek, who was injured, succumbed to his injuries on Friday night (August 29, 2025).

It is said that Toufeek’s son and Farhan’s son had a fight in the school. That led to differences between the two families. Both the parents engaged in a heated debate over the issue in front of a shop in Muzavar Nagar. During the argument, Farhan allegedly pushed Toufeek. As he fell down from the steps, Toufeek suffered serious injuries.

Following Toufeek’s death, his family members and relatives attacked Farhan’s house in the locality and set a car parked in front of their residence on fire. Arasikere Police rushed to the spot and deployed policemen.
