The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has declared the results of the Teacher Recruitment Examination (TRE) 2025 for candidates who completed the 18-month Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) course from the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS).
The decision follows a prolonged legal battle and a court directive, bringing major relief to thousands of aspirants.According to the commission, results for three primary-level subjects and six middle-level subjects have been released. A subject-wise list of eligible candidates has also been made available on the official website — bpsc.bihar.gov.in

- On the homepage, locate the School Teacher Competitive Examination, TRE 2.0 section.

This year, a total of 389 candidates have cleared the examination across subjects. These include:
- Hindi – 100 candidates
- Sanskrit – 65 candidates
- English – 243 candidates
- Social Science – 233 candidates
- Mathematics – 249 candidates
- Urdu – 171 candidates

The Bihar Public Service Commission had conducted the recruitment examination to fill approximately 1.22 lakh teaching posts across the state.
The written examination was held between 7 December and 15 December 2023, with nearly 7 lakh aspirants appearing.With the declaration of results, a wave of relief has spread among candidates who had been awaiting clarity for months.
