Piers Morgan has strongly criticized Candace Owens for spreading what he called a false conspiracy theory about Brigitte Macron. Morgan addressed the issue during his latest show while speaking with Tim Pool.
He accused Owens of inventing claims about the French President’s wife for attention and profit. The comments have once again brought the long-running controversy into the spotlight.Morgan said Owens deliberately pushed the narrative that Brigitte Macron was born a man. He argued that the story was not based on facts. Instead, he claimed it was designed to gain views, clicks, and money. His remarks came as the Macrons continued legal action against Owens over the claims.

During the episode, Piers Morgan explained why he was so frustrated with Candace Owens. He said the entire storyline was made up and then expanded into a full conspiracy theory. Morgan said, “I had a big set two with her about the Bridget Macron uh thing, where I genuinely felt that she just completely concocted this whole narrative that Bridget Macron was a man and then built a whole kind of conspiracy theory story around it and was doing it purely for attention, clicks, and money.
And it ended up with us having a $300,000 bet to charity. My bet being that Bridget Macron, who mothered three children, is a woman.
”Morgan also warned that proving the truth may not stop the conspiracy. He said that even if Brigitte Macron’s gender is officially confirmed, Owens would likely shift the narrative again. He explained that the Macrons are now suing Owens, but the situation may not end there. “Uh, but even if even if it’s proven, because of course the Macrons are now suing her, even if they win, it seems to me that Candace has got herself into a place now with, you know, her surging following, that even if she w even if the Macrons win the case and they prove that Bridget Macron is a woman, which she is, Candace will just claim another conspiracy theory.
She’ll probably say it wasn’t Bridget Macron who took the sex test or whatever it is they do to establish the truth and so on.
In other words, there’s there’s almost no way to turn these taps off, right? If you’re intent on monetizing conspiracy theories, particularly if you have concocted them”, he added. Candace Owens first pushed the claim in February through a series titled Becoming Brigitte. In July, the French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife filed a defamation lawsuit against her.On October 25, Caliber, based on a BFMTV documentary, had reported that Brigitte Macron was mistakenly registered as male on the French tax system under the name “Jean-Michel.” Owens later responded to an article discussing that tax record error. For now, the controversy continues to divide opinions online.
