Authorities have apprehended a 50-year-old Japanese woman for attempting to break into BTS star Jungkook's residence. This marks the latest in a series of similar incidents this year, with previous attempts by two other women. The investigation is ongoing under the Anti-Stalking Act, as the woman is currently overseas. Jungkook is preparing for BTS's 2026 comeback.
Another break-in attempt has been reported by the authorities at BTS Jungkook’s residence. Earlier this year, two women were caught and apprehended on separate occasions for trying to enter his residence without permission.
Now, a 50-year-old woman of Japanese descent has been booked by the authorities for doing the same.
A 50-year-old woman tries to break into Jungkook’s home
According to Dispatch reports, a woman who has been identified as being in her 50s and is of Japanese descent has been booked by the authorities. It was reported that the person was caught on December 16 on charges of attempted trespassing, as she had been trying to break into his living complex.It was reported that on November 12 and 13, the woman attempted to break into Jungkook’s home by using his locking mechanism.
She pressed on it multiple times to figure out the code. The woman is currently staying overseas. There have been no updates about the matter and how the rightful authorities will proceed with further action.Investigation into the matter is underway, as per the Seoul Yongsan Police Station. The woman is being investigated under the Anti-Stalking Act.
Not an isolated incident
At the beginning of the year, Jungkook had undergone his first experience with the matter.
At the time, a Chinese woman had tried pressing random combinations onto his door lock in order to break in. Later, a 40-year-old Korean woman was also found trying to trespass into his residence through the parking lot. The Chinese woman has been granted suspension of indictment, while the Chinese woman awaits her trial, as her case has been referred to the prosecutors.
On the work front
Regarding his work, Jungkook is currently preparing for BTS's full group comeback, which is set for spring 2026. The group keeps fans regularly updated about the matter and has recently revealed that they are working on the choreography.
